“I’m a young Swiss architect and architectural visualization artist who studied architecture at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland.
I founded earlier this year an architecture studio, with my friend and associate Simon Zangger, called STUDIO STRATUS. We do architecture projects but we specialized ourselves in visualization, unbuilt architecture.
My work is about dealing with an image language that is often based on photography mixed with collage, digital painting and sometimes a bit of rendering, to transmit the spatial and conceptual qualities of a project, along the lines of artistic references, photographic and architectural.
The idea of this project was to play with this adage we all agreed: ‘This is a photo so it’s real.’ This is a series of collages made with textures fragments and objects put together. These images are playing with reality, and questioning the perception that one has. It’s all about dealing with an image language based on photography, that deals with a new [real] ”
